Here we are. Blogging. I haven't tried this before but, here we go. A new adventure. It is my hope that this blog will keep you all informed with greater detail, the life that Allie lives.
Today, Miss Allie is sick. She woke up in tears. Another day of pain. I hate to see my little girl hurt. She takes it like a warrior. She has made her home on the couch today. Two iv's going, one with TPN (the way she is fed), the other just fluids for hydration to combat the vomiting. She is also on her feeding pump for the first time in over a month. This time she is just running Pedialyte, again to help with hydration. She's had pain meds and nausea meds going all day.
The iPad goes a long way on days like to day. It keeps her calm and happy, she can escape a world of pain and disappear to somewhere better. Mickey Mouse is usually waiting for her on the other side of the screen and of course Mickey Mouse makes everything better.
Since this is just a first post I'll stop here. Just learning the ropes.
